Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Reza Haider Zaidi, director of the Hazrat Ghufran Ma'ab Seminary, speaking during Friday prayer sermons at Asifi Mosque in Lucknow, elaborated on the unbreakable bond between the Iranian nation and the ideals of the Islamic system, describing this perseverance as a tangible manifestation of the believers' steadfastness in the Battle of Uhud.
Faith in the School, the Secret to the Iranian Nation's Resilience
Expounding further on recent events in Iran, he stated: "When people's faith is in a system and a school, not in an individual, they do not deviate from their path upon the loss of that person. Today, the zealous and courageous nation of Islamic Iran, owing to this very faith in the school, has remained firm and steadfast even after the martyrdom of its leader."
Recalling his time spent in Iran and commending the sympathy shown by the people of Lucknow following the martyrdom of Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, the Indian religious scholar added: "News of the mourning ceremonies and protests by the people of Lucknow reached Iran despite media restrictions, and the Iranian nation valued this solidarity."
Arrogant Powers' Plots Foiled by the People's Presence
The Friday prayer leader of Lucknow, pointing to the divine promise of the preservation of responsibilities and the continuation of the movement by Almighty God, asserted: "As soon as the news of the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution was released, the spontaneous presence of the people on the streets, without any prior call, foiled all the calculations and conspiracies of the arrogant powers."
Expressing astonishment at the spirit of the Iranian people, he continued: "In a situation where the enemies were attempting to create fear, the people of Iran, instead of being afraid, responded to Trump's nonsense by chanting 'Allahu Akbar' and maintaining a remarkable calm. The Iranian nation, by emphasizing the original slogans of the Revolution, demonstrated that not only will it not choose its leader at the behest of foreigners, but it also insists firmly on its ideals."
Piety: The Key to Victory and the Opening of Affairs
In another part of his address, Hujjat al-Islam Haider Zaidi, citing verses from the Holy Quran, emphasized the role of piety in the elevation of societies. Referencing verse 13 of Surah Al-Hujurat, he described piety as the criterion for true dignity, adding: "The recitation of the Quran alone is not sufficient; rather, it is a prelude to benefiting from divine guidance and moral reform and training."
Quoting verses 2 and 3 of Surah At-Talaq, he added: "Adhering to divine piety is the path to salvation and the opening of sustenance for society. Today, the world witnessed that Islamic Iran, relying precisely on this piety, received God's help, and it was proven that a nation for which God opens the path to salvation will never be destroyed."
Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Haider Reza concluded by honoring the forthcoming days, describing the days of Dhul-Hijjah as an opportunity to seek nearness to Allah.
